This year, I entered the D&AD student awards for the first time, deciding that the open craft brief was most suitable to my skills and interest in more exciting, experimental and somewhat art based graphic design. I entered my designs and ideas in the form of a video pitch and was fortunate enough to receive a Student Yellow Pencil Nomination. You can see the video I pitched to D&AD here:

I targeted the student creative market through the use of a pop up screen printing tour of the UK's best and most diverse art and design universities and colleges. The tour would be branded under the name of the "Nice Screen Tour" and would have strong ice cream themes and imagery - the tour would be during the summer term of university and college, so it would be fitting of the climate.

The tour would provide student with the opportunity to get involved in screen printing themselves a limited edition It's Nice That design onto any material they bring for free. I designed multiple screen print designs which consisted of either patterns or bold ice cream designs.
